1. Pricing Structure
Service Fees:
- For Clients: When a Client purchases a service from a Freelancer, a service fee is applied to the total cost of the order. This fee covers administrative, operational, and platform maintenance costs. The service fee is calculated as a percentage of the total order value.
- For Freelancers: Freelancers pay a service fee on the revenue they earn from completed orders. This fee is deducted automatically from the payment received from the Client. The percentage fee is outlined in the Freelancer's account settings and varies depending on the category of service.
Order Pricing:
- Freelancers set their own prices for the services they offer. Prices must be clear, transparent, and reflect the value and complexity of the services provided. Freelancers can offer different pricing tiers based on the scope and depth of the service.
2. Payment Processes
Payment Methods:
- We support various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other online payment gateways. All payments are processed securely to ensure the protection of Users' financial information.
Currency:
- Transactions on the platform are conducted in [USD]. Clients and Freelancers are responsible for any currency conversion fees that may apply.
Payment Schedule:
- For Clients: Payment is required at the time of order placement. Funds are held in escrow until the service is delivered and accepted by the Client.
- For Freelancers: Payments are released to Freelancers upon order completion and Client approval. In the case of no response from the Client within the specified review period, the payment will be released automatically.
3. Promotions and Discounts
Promotional Offers:
- Experts Pool may run promotional campaigns offering discounts or special deals to Clients and Freelancers. These promotions will be time-limited and subject to specific terms and conditions.
- Promotions may include, but are not limited to, discount codes, seasonal offers, referral bonuses, and loyalty rewards.
Referral Program:
- We offer a referral program where Users can earn rewards by referring new Clients and Freelancers to the platform. Detailed terms of the referral program, including eligibility criteria and reward structure, can be found on our Referral Program page.
Loyalty Rewards:
- Regular Users of Experts Pool may be eligible for loyalty rewards, such as discounts on future orders or priority support. Details of the loyalty program, including tiers and benefits, will be communicated to eligible Users.
4. Fee Adjustments
Periodic Review:
- We periodically review our fee structure to ensure it remains competitive and fair. Any adjustments to fees will be communicated to Users in advance and will take effect as specified in the notice.
Special Circumstances:
- In certain cases, such as long-term projects or bulk orders, special pricing arrangements may be made. Clients and Freelancers can negotiate such terms directly, with the agreement documented within the platform.
5. Taxes
Responsibility:
- Users are responsible for complying with their local tax laws and regulations. Experts Pool does not withhold taxes on behalf of Users.
- Freelancers must ensure that their pricing reflects any applicable taxes, which should be clearly communicated to Clients during the order process.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund Policy:
- Our Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted. Clients can request refunds for services not delivered or not meeting the agreed-upon quality standards. Refer to our Refund Policy page for detailed information.
Cancellation Policy:
- Clients may cancel orders under certain conditions. If work has not started, a full refund may be issued. If work has begun, partial refunds may be considered based on the extent of work completed.
7. Dispute Resolution
Mediation:
- In the event of a pricing or payment dispute, our mediation team is available to assist in resolving the issue. Both parties are encouraged to provide evidence and communicate clearly to reach an amicable resolution.
Arbitration:
- If mediation fails, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration as per our Arbitration Policy.
